PRIVATE LESSONS:

What should I bring?

Bring anything you are working on with your teacher at home such as etues, solos, scales. If you have never studied privately, contact the camp director Dr. Julianne Kirk-Doyle who can connect you with a faculty member for questions about what to bring for your instrument/voice.

How many lessons can I have?

Some instruments have larger numbers than others and faculty can only offer one lesson per camper. Other studios that are smaller will have more availability. There is a limit of 2 30-minute lessons per camper pending faculty availability.

HOUSING:

Are Boys and Girls housed separately?

Of course! Campers will be in the same building but housed in different parts of the building and on different floors. Counselors are

present in multiple rooms on each floor to supervise all campers.

Can I request a roommate?

Yes as long as that roommate also requests you and you are close in age. Floors are organized by age so a 12-year-old and an 18-year-old will not be permitted to room together.

LOCKERS:

Can I have a locker in the Crane Complex?

Yes!! Bring your own lock and be sure and remove the combination sticker before you place it on the locker. You can store your instrument and all camp music in your locker. Please choose a locker appropriate for your instrument. Don't put a Piccolo in a Tuba Locker.

What do I need to bring to camp?

Please view the camper information sheet here.
